Hodinkee used to be one of the best apps for enthusiasts and collectors no matter budget. it played a large part in my collecting journey. it didn't matter if you were starting with Timex, Seiko, Citizen, Grand Seiko, or just starting a journey into Swiss made pieces like Tissot, Hamilton, Oris, Tudor, and the like . I still check now and then, but it seems most of the content is centered around high horology or closely it.

Glad to see an Android app. I'd prefer if going to the comments section didn't open a new 'page,' as it were, but just appended the comments at the bottom of the article (as it would in Chrome, for example). My only major gripe: the clock function should sync with an official time source, e.g. NIST, not my phone's time, which can be inaccurate/incorrect (my phone was off by 20 seconds today). Otherwise, I'll just keep using time.gov as a reference to set my watches.

Long anticipated. Great app. My only issue at the moment is that the app crashes if there's no WiFi or data connection. And as far as I can tell, no feature to keep the current article I'm reading when I come back to the app. Something like saved articles or offline reading? (using Oneplus 5) thanks!
